"The
Valentine One/2 has dominated every high-end detector test we've
conducted since its introduction in 1992" said the US motor
magazine, Car and Driver. The overall ratings for various radar
detectors from tests done in 1992, 1994, 1997 and February 2002
show the Valentine regularly comes out on top.

Car and Driver ratings chart from the Valentine website.
On
the Valentine website another chart is shown to illustrate the detector's
high score on test with the comment "in Car and Driver's
latest test, the Valentine One earned a perfect score in four of
the six categories, and outscored all others in yet another category.
Notice the score on radar range (Sensitivity), 61% higher than second-best
Passport 8500, and nearly double that f third-place BEL".

Car and Driver magazine test scorecard from the February
2002 issue available on the Valentine website. See larger
copy of this table below.

Tip
- buy three or four suction pad windscreen mounted clip holders
at the same time and then the Valentine One/2 detector can be moved
between cars without the hassle of moving the suction holder! They
are very inexpensive and you will kick yourself later you did not
get several!
