RV8 gearknob auction
Terry Starkey has been supplying his handmade replacement
Elm burr gearknobs for RV8s for several years and amazingly the 100th gearknob
has just been made. It is a very special gearknob - a classic smooth shape, showing
the beauty of the Elm burr with an inset MG emblem. It has been expertly made
by a local wood turner in rural Norfolk.
Terry feels it would be good
to see the gearknob auctioned to celebrate the 8th anniversary of the launch of
the popular V8 website in May 2002, and then have the proceeds donated to a charity.
