in Switzerland with a LHD conversion
Victor Rodrigues (V8 Register in Switzerland), reports an RV8
(Oxford Blue 0467) has been registered in Switzerland. The most
interesting feature is that the car was very professionally
converted to LHD in Holland by Classiccars van der Wouw. Recently
this RV8 has gone to Switzerland where it now belongs to a very
enthusiastic Swiss lady. The RV8 is a very clean, early and
special car, showing 28,800 kms on the mileage indicator.
Further update from Jos van der Wouw of Classiccars van
der Wouw in Holland who read this NEWS item and noted "we
are the company in Holland that has converted this RV8 (with
chassis number 0467) to LHD and sold it to Urs and Ursula Whyler.
The car was indeed imported from Japan, but was converted to
LHD and directly sold to Urs and Ursula (not pre-owned in Holland).
Every year we convert three to four RV8s to LHD." (25.2.10) |
