The day was packed with eight presentations on a variety of topics of interest to both MGBGTV8 and RV8 owners together with a talk by David Knowles at the launch of his new MG V8 book. Here we have a series of reports on each presentation during the day together with links to useful reference material.

A recording of the presentations was made by Gavin Bailey and he is working to produce a DVD which will be available to fellow V8 Register members who were unable to attend the main event in the V8 Anniversary Year. Further news of the release of that DVD will be made over the next few weeks.

The oldest and newest Factory MGBGTV8s there came together with Clive Wagerfield's Glacier White 0096 and Peter Wilson's Flamenco Red 2903.
David Knowles gave an entertaining talk on his book and additional material he uncovered during his researches and then his book was formally launched. He then added a few comments to his signed copies of the books members had bought through the V8 Register's special offers. The Commissioning Editor of Crowood Press, the publisher, Hannah Shakespeare joined the meeting and spoke enthusiastically of David's work on the book.
