Classics on the Common 2006

Ian Quarrington attended the annual Classics on the Common event in Hertfordshire on 26th July 2006 and sent in a set of photographs.

Fred Jenns posted a note on the V8BB at just gone midnight "Just got back. Brilliant event, fantastic atmosphere, a credit to the organisers, to the Police and to all the participants. With around 1,200 entrants, this must now rank as a major National event. Where else could you see a De Lorean next to a A7 Top Hat, and a Ferrari owner in deep discussion with a Scooter rider. Keep it simple and with the wonderful spontaneous feeling about the whole thing. Great!".

The variety of classic cars at this event is quite extraordinary.

Ian Quarrington added the following morning "Yes it was a fantastic evening. Saw seven V8s and several other MGs. I have some photos which I will forward to Victor Smith for posting on the V8 Website. And not a spot of rain by the time I left at 9 pm".
