UK Budget 2007

From the UK Budget 2007 announcements made by Gordon Brown today it appears that Vehicle Excise Duty for MGBGTV8s and RV8s registered before March 2001 will rise by only £5 to £180pa from tomorrow. For reference the VED for Band G cars rises to £300 and then £400 next year. Fuel duty is due to increase by 2p per litre from 1st October 2007 with further increases in the next two years of 2p and 1.84p respectively. (21.3.07)
