The RV8 was
conceived as an MG to revive the MG marque in the early 1990s
using the basic MGB bodyshell and a V8 engine but, whilst it looks
like an MGB, nearly 80% of the components are different to the earlier
MGB Roadster and MGBGTV8 models. The result was a modern classic
MG sportscar.
