The rebuild with a Heritage shell and conversion with V8 power was
completed in 1996 when the engine had a twin SU carburettor set

Shell
stage of the build
This V8 Roadster was built from a Heritage shell with an aluminium
bonnet. A single 12 volt battery was fitted to the offside battery
box and the other battery box was lined as a useful tool store.
The photographic record of the build provides a useful guide to
the quality of this car. See
