Replacement RV8 windscreen glass
Brown & Gammons have a limited quantity of new RV8 windscreens in Pilkington glass available at £165 plus VAT collected. They can arrange fitting by their specialist windscreen fitter at their Baldock workshops and have the necessary RV8 parts like the rubber screen seal and top of screen seal should replacements be needed. Appointments can be made so you can drive to Baldock and then wait in a nearby café whilst B&G carry out the work and then return home soon after. In many cases the work can be carried out as a windscreen damage insurance claim.

Buy and stock service
As their windscreen stocks are limited, if you want to purchase one in case of future damage, B&G are also offering to hold the screen in stock for purchasers. The advantage here is that you do not need to take delivery of the windscreen and make the serious efforts needed to protect the screen in transit and storage. To get an idea of what is needed to protect a windscreen in transit, read RV8NOTE240 in which Al Barnett noted that Uroglas supply windscreens on eBay but they come in the most elaborate packing Al had ever seen, a wooden frame about 6 feet by 4 feet which took him a day to dismantle, de-nail and then convert into firewood!
