Battery Management Conditioners
These units maintain your battery at full charge when your V8 is parked up for extended periods during the Winter months. The unit has a clever control system which switches the charging off when the battery is fully charged and then later, when it detects the battery has lost some of its charge, resumes trickle charging. These units keep all MG V8 batteries in good shape but particularly those in RV8s where there is a continual drain on the battery even when the car is garaged. With RV8s you do need to be very careful not to allow the battery charge to fall to a low level because this can cause other very costly difficulties with the complex electronics and alarm systems.

CSI Airflow Automatic Battery Management Conditioner ABC4000 This unit will charge a fully flat battery and will automatically revive, charge, check and maintain the battery with a controlled trickle charge. With both units, you do not need to remove the battery from the car. The battery management conditioner can be left plugged into your MGBV8 or RV8 and maintain a controlled trickle charge which will keep the battery in good condition and fully charged. They have cunning circuitry which cuts out when the battery is fully charged and avoids boiling the electrolyte - ideal for periods when your V8 is in the garage in cold weather. RV8 hoods offer from B&G
We have a supply of new hoods from the original equipment manufacturer, including header rail and rear screen, for £900.00 plus VAT and delivery. The rear screen alone is £200.00 so this offer is worth investigating if your hood is nearing the end of its operational life.
