Certificates for MGBGTV8s & MG RV8s For UK and Overseas members wanting confirmation of the build date of their RV8 to satisfy vehicle import compliance authorities, the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust at Gaydon in Warwickshire is able to provide a Production Record Trace Certificate for your car. This provides a certified copy of the entry against your hassis number or VIN from the surviving factory production records which the Trust now holds. They can also provide certificates for members with the MGBGTV8 model. The process of ordering a Heritage Certificate can be done online at Heritage Motor Centre which accepts credit and chargecard payment. Recently the charge for the Certificate is £28.00, or US$50 or Euro45 (subject to adjustment for varying FX rates). For an additional charge you can have a search against an engine or body number. |
